About Sissener AS
Sissener AS is a newly founded securities company, established by and for investors, which through its management services contributes towards giving private, institutional and other interested investors a new investment alternative. As an investor in the investmentcompanies initiated and managed by Sissener AS, you can take part in investments made by some of Norway's most experienced participants on the finance markets.
Sissener AS was established in January 2009 by Jan Petter Sissener and was developed in cooperation with Lars-Henrik Q. Røren and Kjell-Magne Rystad. The background for establishing Sissener AS is a strong desire to create an active management product where the manager will not earn anything until a substantial return has been made for the client. The managers' long and varied experience from work on the securities markets represents a unique composition of competence from which our clients will benefit.
The company is managed by Jan Petter Sissener.
A new investment alternative
As manager, Sissener AS contributes towards giving the market a new investment alternative. The company will take the initiative to establish investment companies that have various investing mandates and risk profiles and that will be managed by Sissener AS. Besides a substantial investment in these companies by Sissener AS' active partners, private, institutional and other interested investors are invited to participate through new share issues made through external joint lead managers. The company's structure of costs and public charges will be low and its success will depend upon the manager succeeding in giving investors a higher return than the minimum level anticipated.

As a result of the recent very considerable downturn in the international economy, we believe that this is a favourable time for making long-term financial investments. We wish to benefit from this through our management business. The combination of an expected upturn in market trends and the competence of our managers, offers investors an exciting opportunity.
Sissener AS' first client is the investment company Sissener Sirius ASA. Sissener AS has a licence from Finanstilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) to conduct active management and has an exclusive right to manage the investments in Sissener Sirius ASA. The investment company has a moderate risk profile and will have a life of three years.

To secure adequate control and quality assurance, Sissener AS has elected to engage external suppliers for those parts of the operations and services that do not pertain to the core business. Our collaborators are all among the leading providers in their fields.
MiFID
The investment firm Sissener AS is licensed to carry out active management services and financial advisory services. Consequently the MIFID directive, as incorporated in the Norwegian Securities Trading Act and relevant secondary law, applies for Sissener AS.
